If you have been following me for a long time, you will have come across the recipes of some of my regular smoothies (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanesalorenzo.com\/2015\/11\/batido-verde\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">like the green one<\/span><\/a>), but none of my pink ones.<\/p>\n<p>I find mixed berries, the \u201cculprits\u201d of turning the smoothie pink, fascinating on account of their great antioxidant properties and their flavour. As a result I often use them for my breakfast recipes and as a very appetising ingredient in my smoothies.<\/p>\n<p>A while ago on Instagram I shared the recipe for one of my pink smoothies that we have at home. My partner called it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BRu-XAGFyNm\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u201c<em>Batido Mis dos M<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/a> because our daughters Manuela and Maria love it so much. Not long ago I also shared another of my star pink smoothies on Instagram Stories too. Some of you asked me for the recipe so I decided to put together the recipes for my favourite <strong>pink smoothies<\/strong> in this post so that you can consult them whenever you need to. Enjoy!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>PINK SMOOTHIE WITH GOAT MILK KEFIR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8817 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/vanesalorenzo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/vanesa-lorenzo-mis-batidos-rosas-batido-alimentacion-blog.png\" alt=\"Mis batidos rosas |\u00a0Vanesa Lorenzo\" width=\"700\" height=\"739\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I N G R E D I E N T S<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>For 1 person<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; A handful of frozen berries (blueberries, redcurrants, raspberries and blackberries).<\/strong> As well as creating an intense pink colour, they are a source of antioxidants and vitamin C. Freezing them means I always have them available, and what\u2019s more, when frozen they add a creaminess to the smoothie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; 1 ripe banana.<\/strong> Banana is a source of potassium and magnesium and one of the main ingredients in my smoothies, because it adds density and a sweet flavour that means you can leave out other sweeteners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; 100-150ml goat milk kefir.<\/strong> Goat milk kefir has a strong and sharp flavour but I love it. What\u2019s more, it\u2019s very nutritional and digestive. It protects your intestinal flora, which is so important for maintaining a strong immune system. The quantity to use in the smoothie depends on how liquid you want it. As an alternative, you can use natural yoghurt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; 1 spoonful of cocoa nibs.<\/strong> If you like dark chocolate, you have to try this superfood. The raw cocoa seed is a source of magnesium and a great antioxidant, as well as providing a lot of energy and adding a crunchy consistency to the smoothie which I just love-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; A handful of raw almonds.<\/strong> One of my favourite nuts, small but bursting with nutrition. Almonds are a source of vitamins, protein, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids which contribute to improving the cardiovascular system, among many other benefits.<\/p>\n<p>P R E P A R A T I O N<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1 | Blend all the ingredients in a blender. That\u2019s it!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>\u201cMIS DOS M\u201d SMOOTHIE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8820 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/vanesalorenzo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/vanesa-lorenzo-blog-batido-rosa-mis-dos-m-1024x1024-1.jpg\" alt=\"Mis batidos rosas | Vanesa Lorenzo\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I N G R E D I E N T S<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>For 1 person<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; 6 frozen strawberries (or fresh when in season)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; 1 natural yogurt.<\/strong>\u00a0Yoghurt is a cultured dairy product which helps the body to balance the gut microbiota. A source of protein, A, B and D vitamins, and calcium. I eat full-fat yoghurts, but the low-fat ones have a more liquid consistency and make the smoothie lighter if you prefer it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; 1 spoonful of extra virgin coconut oil.<\/strong> Coconut oil is a good fat with high nutritional properties, and it helps to reduce cholesterol levels.
