The sequence that I share with you today goes after ‘Sūrya Namaskāra’ A, or Sun Salutation A, that I shared with you a few weeks ago. ‘Surya Namaskara’ B, or Sun Salutation B, it is the second sequence of poses or asanas. 4 Sun Salutaitons A and 3 Sun Salutacions B is what I call a warm up that is often the beggining of my longer yoga series.
This series can also be practiced with multiple levels of awareness, incorporating breathing, activating internal muscles and the most important, living the present moment. I recommend you to focus and think about the parts of your body that you are activating thought out this practice. It will help you to connect with your body and feel it. If you feel you don’t understand or you are unable to keep the pose, don’t worry at all. It’s only a matter of time and practice. Be benevolent with yourself. Every single body is different and yoga is about flowing and understanding it…
Many of you have shared that you’d like to introduce yourselves into yoga and that’s why I’ve started with these basic asana videos. It may be difficult for you to adopt those poses; if so, I will soon post new videos about how to enter into the poses and adapt them to your capabilities. I’ll also share with you more advanced sequences for those who already practice yoga.
