One of my wishes for next year, although it may sound too idealistic, is that we continue to cultivate empathy and respect in order to, gradually, achieve a better world; the world that we deserve and that I want to leave to my daughters. Imagine if all of us as individuals were on the same wavelength and were driven by generosity, understanding, listening, giving because it makes you happy, sharing…sooner or later we would make this dream come true.
One of the actions mentioned above pervaded the afternoon of yoga with which I celebrated the seventh edition of my book “Yoga, un estilo de vida”: sharing. It was a highly emotional experience in the company of the winners of the competition that I launched for the occasion. A whole group of people came, willing and open to feel and share, opening doors for beautiful things to happen. From the heart, each of us shared our most personal experiences and thoughts that draw us to the philosophy of yoga. Good energy always grows and expands, and on this occasion it left us with our feelings just below the surface and surprised us with one or two emotional tears.
Verónica Blume was our host in her centre The Garage and she gave us a beautiful Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. Thank you, Vero, for your knowledge, your dedication and generosity, for offering us a little bit of you and opening up your space to us. You are a star.
Today I am sharing a summary of the celebration of “Yoga, un estilo de vida”, which was released a year ago already, and is now on its 8th edition. THANK YOU.
