Another summer has arrived for “A woman, many women”; the end of another season. Time is flying by so quickly.
I’m very happy about everything that has happened since last summer. Endless work, projects that require boundless energy, the launch of my first book which is now in its sixth edition…that is why this August, more than ever, I feel the need to put my brain on pause, to step on the brake and hang up the “closed for holidays” sign. I want to enjoy my family and my friends, and connect with nature.
For me, being on holidays means practising yoga and any sport that we both fancy with my man, observing my daughters in detail, reading “Pequeño azul y pequeño amarillo” with them time and time again, eating sunflower seeds as the sun goes down, jumping into the water together, walking slowly under pine trees in the middle of a downpour, laughing as we watch what a greedy guts Maria is, listening to the stories Manuela makes up… mindfully and without any hurry at all, feeling how time slows down.
And while I’m at it, I will re-read the pages of my book to recover the discipline of set hours in my practice and to become reunited with the kindness of yoga and a healthy way of life.
Thank you for being there.
See you in September,
V
